Coffee and a Keynote Session Description
- There is a critical need for schools to prepare students for an evolving and fast-changing world. The pace of technological advancement is accelerating, requiring educators to equip students with the essential skills and mindset for an uncertain future. Attendees will gain insights into embedding this crucial work into the curriculum through specific approaches and personal classroom examples that promote adaptability and collaboration for educators and their students.
About the Speaker:
- Mary Beth Hertz has been teaching young people in Philadelphia since 2003. She has been on the forefront of technology integration in the classroom for over a decade. She was named a 2010 ISTE Emerging Leader, a 2013 ASCD Emerging Leader, 2013 PAECT Teacher of the Year, and is a co-founder of EdCamp Philly and the Edcamp Foundation.
